By observation through this hatch, the undersigned specimen acknowledges the following laboratory terms.
1. Property. All personal effects, towels, cups, and miscellaneous corridor findings are hereby assigned for return to the white laboratory mice upon request. Holding is temporary. Ownership is not.
2. Specimen brain. The specimen’s brain is to be remitted to the mice at the experiment’s end. Timing of “end” is determined by clipboard, not by the specimen.
3. Hatch protocol. Delivery and countersignature occur through the hatch only. Corridor loitering is discouraged. Elevator music is not a defence.
4. Callous calm. The mice retain clipboard authority. Questions about their presence may result in hatch sealing. This is policy, not personality.
5. Tea & cheese. Optional offerings through the hatch do not void clauses 1–4. Cheese may be appropriated by authorized rodents without further notice.
